Opening hours
Galleries open 09:00–18:00 on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 09:00–21:00 on Wednesday and Saturday. The complex opens at 08:30 and closes one hour after the galleries. Last admission is an hour before the galleries close.
Museum-only admission prices
For an admission ticket dated 26 September 2026, the official site displayed EGP 1,500 for non-Egyptian adults and EGP 750 for children or eligible students. Egyptian admission was EGP 200 for adults and EGP 100 for children or eligible students. Child tickets cover ages 6–12; student tickets cover ages 13–24 and require valid student identification. Eligibility documentation is checked at entry. These are dated examples; confirm the price for your own date and category before paying.

Plan your hotel pickup and return journey, and tell the tour provider about mobility or accessibility requirements before booking. Check the museum’s current visitor rules and allow enough time for the galleries you most want to see. The entry window specifies when you enter, not a fixed length of stay.
