ITINERARY PROGRAM

Day 1 – Saturday: Arrival in Cairo & 5-Star Hotel Check-In

Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our airport representative will greet you with a personalized sign and assist with arrival formalities. You will then transfer in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, your luxury five-star accommodation on the Nile in Giza.

After check-in, The remainder of the evening is at leisure to relax after your international flight.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 – Sunday: Saqqara, Giza Pyramids & the Great Sphinx

After breakfast, travel to the ancient necropolis of Saqqara to explore the remarkable Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first large-scale stone structure. Your Egyptologist will explain the architectural evolution that led to the pyramid age.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the legendary Great Pyramids of Giza and stand before the iconic Great Sphinx of Giza.

Day 3 – Monday: Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Today is dedicated to the extraordinary Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum devoted to a single civilization.

Day 4 – Tuesday: Alexandria Full-Day Mediterranean Excursion

Travel approximately three hours north to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast.

Day 5 – Wednesday: NMEC, Coptic Cairo, Citadel & Khan El-Khalili

After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home to the Royal Mummies Hall.

Continue to Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church, St. Sergius Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, explore the medieval Citadel of Saladin and admire the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

End the day wandering through the vibrant Khan El-Khalili.

Day 6 – Thursday: Fly to Luxor & Begin 7-Night Nile Cruise

Transfer to Cairo Airport for your included domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, board the luxury City and Sea Adonis for your 7-night all-inclusive Nile cruise.

In the afternoon, visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

Dinner, welcome reception, and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 7 – Friday: Valley of the Kings & West Bank of Luxor

Explore the Valley of the Kings, burial site of New Kingdom pharaohs. Continue to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 8 – Saturday: Edfu & Kom Ombo, Sailing to Aswan

Your First Day – Saturday Arrival in Cairo

On your first day in Cairo, there are no scheduled excursions, allowing you to rest and adjust after your journey. Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport, assist with luggage and visa stamping, and provide a private transfer to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence. You can spend the afternoon relaxing by the outdoor pool, exploring the First Residence complex, or simply unwinding in your room. This first day is designed for comfort and ease, with no sightseeing obligations.

Your Last Day – Day 14, Friday Departure from Cairo

The final days of your programme are arranged so that departure is calm whatever time your international flight leaves. On Day 13, Thursday, you fly from Luxor back to Cairo and spend your last night at Le Méridien Cairo Airport on a bed and breakfast basis.

You fly home on Day 14, Friday, from Cairo. Please book your international flight for Friday, and not for Thursday. A Thursday flight would cost you a night you have already paid for.

The hotel is joined to Terminal 3 of Cairo International Airport by a private pedestrian bridge, so on Friday morning you wake up already at the airport and can reach the terminal on foot. Breakfast at the hotel is included. Whatever time your flight leaves, please allow the usual time for check-in, security and passport control, and let us know in advance if you are departing from a different terminal.
